Lessons available on the flute and, for young beginners, the fife.

For those not yet ready to invest in a flute, the fife can offer a good starter alternative. This is a simplified version and is made of plastic and smaller. The fife uses the same finger positions and embouchure so is a great idea for a very young beginner and means you can postpone the investment in a flute until you know that the instrument will suit! When the student is ready to progress onto the flute they have a very good grounding and all skills learned transpose directly.
